Our Story
After 19 years in the funeral industry as a community relations officer and funeral consultant, my wife and I decided to retire to the beautiful Lemon Tree Passage seven years ago. It wasn’t long before we discovered just how special this place truly is—what many fondly refer to as “our little bit of paradise.”
As we became part of the local community, we found ourselves frequently discussing my previous profession. People often sought advice and had questions about funeral arrangements and costs.
In response to this need, we made the decision in 2021 to open our family-run funeral business. Our goal is to offer guidance, support, and compassion to our friends and neighbors in this wonderful community we now call home.
Our Symbolism and Values
The heart and rose in our logo symbolize the love and care we extend to everyone we serve.
The Lemon Tree represents both our name and the rich history of this area.
Early settlers often spotted lemon trees along the shores, possibly carried here from other settlements.
Another theory is that the native plant, the Cheese Bush, which closely resembles a lemon tree, inspired the name.
Much like the Lemon Tree, we aim to bring life, balance, and harmony to all we touch.
As an Australian-owned and operated company, we are proud to serve the Port Stephens area and greater Sydney. We are dedicated to offering every service with love, care, respect, and dignity, all while being mindful of costs.
